New, crisp reboot for the blog
And we’re up and running!
I’ve decided to change the blog theme here.
Foot(side)notes
Turns out, the best thing for my writing is to set up a clean way to do footnotes1.
MathJax
Of course, I always need some math equations so let’s test that out here2:
$\dot{x} = \sin (x) + \mathcal{N}$
Tweeterings
Let’s try a tweet next
I really don't like the obsession with measurements as if they can come anywhere close to capturing salient states by themselves.#dataisoverrated https://t.co/hGxCfnbhWy

Just for the sake of testing, let’s see if I can repost the figure from that tweet into a sidenote3.
Javascript
Finally, I’m going to test out a simple javascript chart.
The chart should be above this line.
…and beyond
There are a lot more pieces I want to be able to support when I block (widgets, 3D animations, basic ML, random artworks) but what we’ve seen above is actually the minimal-viable-blogging for me. So let’s get started!4
I usually like to clarify the nuance behind a simplified sentence, which detracts from the core point but maybe builds up a different point I’m planning for a different day. With these (side)footnotes, we can have the best of all worlds! ↩︎
And also in the sidenotes - $\dot{x} = f(x) + g(x) \cdot \vec{u}(t)$. ↩︎
The figure in the tweet is

The formatting and features of the blog are going to evolve considerably - for sure. The context of the blog is going to be static - even the posts from before 2022. I do anticipate adding a new feature that reimagines a previous blogpost; I’ll make it clear when I edit previously posted posts. ↩︎
